Has anyone else noticed that the train has picked up this summer?
I’mĀ noticing a lot more shaking/noise in the last couple weeks after it had toned down for a bit. There has also beenĀ an increase in the number of signatures on the petition.

I have not noticed this, though I have been home more recently.
RE: Turn-over rate
You are correct, what I may be seeing may be more localized to our section of the neighborhood (right near the tracks).
When we first moved in (a bit over a year ago), about five of the single family homes on our street went up for sale without their owners moving in. They were never sold. A couple of these had been planned investments that because of the downturn in the real estate market, the owners were frustrated — they had wanted to sell once built. A couple of them, the owner decided not to move in (don’t know why).
Now they are renting them out (the house across the street unfortunately just got trashed by the last renters). Several of the duplexes along the tracks are also being rented out. One has had three different families in the last year.
So looking out from my veranda, about half of the houses in my little section are rentals, and about half have different owners than when we first moved in.
Our previous home was in Terwillegar; much less turn over there than what I am seeing here. But Tamarack is ‘earlier’ in its development than Terwillegar, so we’ll see if things stabilize.
